Blacklist Zapper
(performance improvement)

Over time - your ChoiceMail blacklist may have grown to be quite large. Usually the entries on this list are one time, made up addresses that will never be used again. Having a huge blacklist though will impact ChoiceMail performance and we recommend that from time to time - you delete your blacklist entirely.
This operation is not going to let any spam through. If you delete an address that sends you message again
- it will simply go to you unknown box. This tool will give you a chance to delete the whole blacklist or just certain addresses.
INSTRUCTIONS: Download blacklistzapper.exe and save it to your ChoiceMail directory. Make sure your Exit ChoiceMail and (v4 only - stop the background service using the ChoiceMail admin Control Panel). Then Open this tool and use it to delete your blacklist. Start the ChoiceMail service back up and run your ChoiceMail.
Outlook Email Address Extractor

For those of you running MS Outlook 2000-2003, we have added a free
download that can be used to extract email addresses from folders
in Outlook and subsequently imported into ChoiceMail One. The program,
which can be downloaded from http://www.digiportal.com/files/download/EAEInstaller.exe
lets you select Outlook folders from which you want email addresses
and then creates a standard CSV file containing those addresses. You
can then import those addresses into ChoiceMail One through the Actions
| Import Address Book command.
Startup Problems Fixing Tool

If you are having trouble starting your ChoiceMail in version 3.x or 4.x of ChoiceMail please download and run the following tool, then try again.
http://www.digiportal.com/files/download/misc/FixRegExAV.exe
INSTRUCTIONS: Make sure your Exit ChoiceMail and (v4 only - stop the background service using the ChoiceMail admin Control Panel). Then Open this tool and click the START button. Start the ChoiceMail service back up and run your ChoiceMail.
Whitelist/blacklist exporter

If you need to export the whitelist or blacklist from ChoiceMail,
you can use a program called DBExporter which can be downloaded from
http://www.digiportal.com/files/download/misc/DBExporter.exe,
The whitelist or blacklist will be saved as a text file using the
standard CSV format which can be easily imported into programs
like Excel or back into most email programs if necessary.
This program must be saved into the folder where ChoiceMail is installed
- the program extracts the needed information from a database called
CMDB.MDB which is in that folder.
When you run it, you can click the Help button for instructions
on how to use it.
DBExporter works
with versions 2.5 or later of ChoiceMail One, ChoiceMail Free, ChoiceMail Enterprise
and ChoiceMail Small Business.
Extra permission rules
Extra permission rules can be downloaded here.
Increasing the font size
If you are running in high resolution and you have large fonts, the update to ChoiceMail One that supports better dialog scaling may result in the unknown senders list looking too small for your test. A special configuration file can be downloaded here and installed to solve this problem if you are using ChoiceMail One version 3.1 or newer. However, please read this knowledge base article for instructions first.
Registration page in other languages
You can configure your own copy of ChoiceMail such that people who send you an
email and are challenged will see the registration page in a different language.
Please see our national language support page to
download the appropriate files.
