| Customers who are still running
an older version of ChoiceMail should consider an upgrade
to the latest version of ChoiceMail One
After you upgrade, you will receive an email with a usercode and
key that you can use to unlock ChoiceMail One 3.x
Reasons to upgrade include
1) Many new features
2) Many new bug fixes
3) Free updates to all 3.x versions
4) ChoiceMail 1.x is no longer supported - too many changes
have been required, not only for the purposes of adding new features
but also to fortify ChoiceMail against ever increasing attempts
by spammers to break it (sigh)
5) ChoiceMail 2.x users will continue to be supported to the extent that the problem in question can be solved (with guidance through the knowledgebase) in 2.x. If the issue in question is addressed by 3.x, then the user will need to upgrade.
Customers who already have ChoiceMail 3.x can simply download the latest update.
Note: ChoiceMail One version 3.x works with Windows 98 Second Edition
and above. Although it MAY work on Windows 98 or Windows 95 with
all latest updates from Microsoft installed, we cannot guarantee
it nor can we provide any technical support to help you to get
ChoiceMail One running on those platforms.
While
some customers have found that the POP3 portion of ChoiceMail One
version 3.0 works fine with Windows 95 after the latter has been
completely updated, we have verified that access to AOL, MSN, Hotmail
and Yahoo will not work on Windows 95.
