How To Temporarily Disable ChoiceMail

At any time and for any reason you can disable ChoiceMail's filtering of your email. This will allow all messages to come in to your email client without being processed by ChoiceMail. No registration requests will be sent out, and no messages will be blocked. Note however that you must continue to run ChoiceMail because your email application is still configured to access your mail through ChoiceMail unless you actually change your email application settings themselves.

In ChoiceMail (versions 1.227 and greater) there is a round button in the top right corner of the main window. When the button is green in color, ChoiceMail is filtering your mail. When the button is red in color, ChoiceMail filtering is disabled, and all email will pass through.

1) Click the round green button in the top right corner of the main window of ChoiceMail. (Note: If your button is Red already, your ChoiceMail is already disabled).

2) A Coaching message may popup asking you to confirm that you do indeed want to stop ChoiceMail from filtering your email. If you still wish to continue, click yes.

3) After clicking yes, the button in the top right corner will change color from green to red. This signifies that ChoiceMail is no longer filtering your email. In the titlebar of the main window, the words 'Filtering Disabled' will appear also (example: ryanp (ChoiceMail 1.227) - Filtering Disabled).

4) That's it, ChoiceMail is now no longer filtering your email.

You can reenable ChoiceMail by clicking on the (now) red button to change it back to green. Note that enabling ChoiceMail in this manner only works once ChoiceMail has previously established a connection with your email client.
